Welsh Language Standards

Navigating the Welsh Language Standards as set out in the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 can be challenging. We are one of the leading teams in Wales when it comes to advising on the Standards, and also the wider implications of the provisions and procedures contained within the Measure itself.

Our solicitors have acted for a range of prominent and high-profile organisations in relation to the Standards, including currently acting for the Welsh Language Commissioner itself.

We also have expertise in dealing with cases brought to the Welsh Language Tribunal, and are excited to be playing a part in the development of a burgeoning body of case law in this important area of Welsh law.
