As Head of Darwin Gray’s award-winning Commercial Property team, Catherine has extensive experience in commercial property, advising foreign, national and local companies on the acquisition, financing, and disposal of business property including industrial, retail, agricultural, and development land.
With a particular focus on pre-let development schemes and site assembly work on commercial and residential sites Catherine regularly acts for developers on large scale and high-profile development projects including housing associations acquiring, developing and disposing of properties. She also undertakes high value secured lending work for banks and building societies providing investment and development finance to borrowers
With a proven track record of navigating the requirements of multiple public sector stakeholders, Catherine also leads on the Team’s National Procurement Service Work acting for local authorities and third sector bodies in terms of their property requirements.
Catherine is known for having the technical expertise to deal with complex legal issues, adopting a pragmatic and collaborative approach. Her joined up thinking and willingness to link directly with a client’s other advisors is invaluable.
