A Cardiff Law School graduate, Kate joined the firm in 2012 as a trainee, qualifying in 2014 and becoming a key member of both the Social Housing and Property Litigation teams. Her progression through the firm is a testament to Darwin Gray’s commitment to professional development and further demonstrates the loyalty of their people to the firm.
An active member of The Association of Women in Property, a national organisation that seeks to enhance the profile of women in the construction and property sectors, Kate joined the South Wales branch’s committee in 2013. In 2014 Kate took up the role of Secretary and remains in this post following recurrent re-election. In addition to her committee role, as a member of Women in Property, Kate gets involved with charitable events, as well as organising and running CPD events.
Kate has been instrumental in the growth of Darwin Gray’s Social Housing team, working alongside experienced partner Neil Morgan, primarily advising on housing management matters and anti-social behaviour cases.
Alongside her Housing work, Kate advises corporate clients and individuals on a broad range of commercial and property related disputes in the County Court, High Court and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) including mediation.
Commenting on her promotion, Kate said: “I am delighted to become an Associate at a firm that recognises and rewards its people. I have learnt so much at Darwin Gray and I am looking forward to continuing to develop my career here knowing I have the partners’ support for my professional development.”
