Ashley joined Darwin Gray on a placement after a six week Pre-Apprenticeship Programme at ACT in May 2014. This was following an 8 week placement at Ikea, where Ashley developed his customer service skills.
In October 2014, Ashley’s work at ACT and Darwin Gray was recognised as he won the NTFW Apprenticeship Awards Learner of the Year (Level 1) Award.
In 2015, Ashley completed his Level 2 NVQ in Business Admin and was offered a permanent role at Darwin Gray as the firm's receptionist/administrator.
In 2016, Ashley improved his skills further through successfully completing his Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service.
