Kate graduated in French and German from the University of Exeter in 2008, having spent a year in France teaching in two schools as part of her studies. Kate went on to undertake the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of the West of England and the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff Law School, where she obtained a distinction.
Following completion of the LPC in 2010, Kate worked as a Paralegal for a commercial law firm in Newport, before joining Darwin Gray as a Trainee Solicitor in January 2012. With Darwin Gray, she has gained experience in Employment Law, Dispute Resolution and Commercial Property.
Kate qualified as a solicitor in January 2014 and joined the Dispute Resolution team. She works closely with Neil Morgan and Rhodri Lewis advising corporate clients and individuals on a broad range of commercial, contractual, insolvency and property related disputes in the County Court and High Court and in mediations.
Kate also assists Neil Morgan in the Social Housing team, advising primarily on anti-social behaviour matters, rent arrears and possession proceedings.
Kate has been a committee member of the South Wales branch of The Association of Women in Property since 2013 and in March 2014 she took up the role of Secretary.
