Fflur has been a member of Darwin Gray since 2003, when she joined the firm upon qualification. She has moved up through the ranks and was made partner in 2010.

Fflur specialises in discrimination work, where she provides advice to public sector and third sector organisations and private clients. She is an experienced negotiator in both entrance and exit packages, and advises businesses on large scale redundancies, unfair dismissal, and all aspects of discrimination law. She has advised several senior executives on their Employment Tribunal claims and exit packages from large City and media employers.

Fflur provides advice and training on a full range of non-contentious work in both English and Welsh. Some of the issues she addresses are equality and diversity, the impact of the Working Time Regulations, Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment (TUPE) transfers, share option agreements, and the employment law aspects of corporate deals, including mergers, and asset sales and purchases.

She  delivers  seminars on  Equality  and Diversity  for  the  Cardiff  20  Twenty  Leadership  course,  and  also  delivers  training seminars on a variety of employment law topics in conjunction with Menter a Busnes. She has also delivered training on the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011, and has spoken at a Conference in the European Parliament on the Reform of European Electoral Law. 



During  her  career  at  Darwin  Gray,  Fflur  has  developed  a  specialism  in discrimination  law. She  now regularly  acts for individuals and companies alike  in  complex  discrimination  cases,  including  many  pregnancy  and maternity related, and disability discrimination cases.

Fflur is a regular contributor to radio and TV programmes on Radio Wales, Radio Cymru and BBC Cymru Wales where she shares her expertise on employment law.

Personal Interests

Fflur is a fluent Welsh speaker who is able to play both the piano and the harp. She regularly gives pro-bono advice at the Cardiff Law Centre and enjoys theatre, cycling, and cooking.
